Background of the Study

Female entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of communities, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. In Makurdi North Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State, the potential for women to contribute to economic development through entrepreneurship has often been constrained by factors such as limited access to finance, inadequate training, and cultural barriers. Local government policies that target female entrepreneurship are critical in addressing these challenges and creating a conducive environment for women to thrive as entrepreneurs.
